Food is a big part of Singapore's culture. With our history as a fishing village, seafood has always been a staple, and something we eat all the time. However, we have slowly lost touch with fresh produce including seafood. This workshop focuses on preparing fish from scratch to get an experience of understanding the efforts gone behind heritage recipes, developing an appreciation for our seafood! Many of the species we use are facing intense pressure from overfishing and our workshops explore alternatives to these more popular species
