Grahgah Supper: A Eurasian Dinner

Drawing from European, Indian, Malay, and Chinese influences. Eurasian cuisine is as diverse as the Eurasians themselves, perfectly embodying the melting pot of cultures in Singapore.

Eurasians food is generally hard to come by but the cousins, Andre and Elliott are on a mission to revive and share their family recipes, so join us for a night of good food and chatter. As always, you can expect us to feature interesting fishes and stories.

Let us challenge your tastebuds with the most amazing protein in the word... Fishes! While they are the most diverse protein we consume, we often overlooked most species in favor of more famous table fish.

Get Jacked features features the use of 4 species of Trevally in a 6 course all fish meal! 

Trevally are also called Jacks as they are from the Jack family (Carangidae) and often just noted as 'white fish' in Singapore. In Singapore, we have a diverse selection of trevally with unique flavours and textures each. A fitting Jack of all trade or maybe flavours!

This six-course dinner celebrates trevally explores a different facet of this fish in all its forms, showcasing the fish through a progression of preparations that highlight the versatility of this locally found fish.

Get a story pairing on us on the many traits of why trevallies are amazing yet unknown today while you taste the varied expressions from cured versions to richer, more robust preparations, each course explores a different facet of the fish.

Gyotaku X Cook Workshop

Upcoming Gyotaku Workshop! PSA this is probably going to be our last public workshop for a little while so join us while you still can!

This workshop will include both the printing of the fishes and enjoying it afterwards 👩‍🍳

As usual, we’ll guide you through the art of Gyotaku while showing you how to practice it with zero wastage. Through this unique art form, you will also be learning about the ecology, heritage and culinary usages of uncommon wet market fishes that you probably have not seen before! We will round off with a tasting of the fishes that you have printed

And of course, all the prints you create during the session are yours to take home!

After trying to feature as many heritage cuisine as possible, we take a crazier spin using the whole fish and create something a little Avant Garde instead. Ever wonder how different fishes are in taste, texture and just in general? This is a perfect opportunity for you to try a huge variety of fishes and make it into a game! Fish slices will be served without you knowing what fish they are, and you are the fish detective to try and make guesses of which of the fishes are which from a list of suspects. Discuss and figure it out with your fellow fish detective mates!
